| June 30, 2011 – Coyotes Lose to Saints in Good Game |
| The Chokio Coyotes made the trip to Wheaton Sunday afternoon, June 26, for a game with the Dumont Saints. The Coyotes went down 1,2,3 in the top of the first, but this would prove to be the only short inning of the game. The Saints put a run on the board in the first, but the Coyotes came back with several of their own in the second. Mitch Daly did most of the damage with a mighty two-run shot over the right field fence. Chokio lefty Lee Arvold started another good game for the Coyotes. Arvold fended off a hungry Saints team with effective pitching and good defense, including a bone-jarring catch at the backstop by rookie Coyote catcher, Nate Gibson. Unfortunately, the catch knocked Gibson out of the game. Both teams kept the heat on, but Dumont eventually took the lead in the seventh, 8-6. The Coyotes put one more on the board in the eighth and were threatening with two aboard in the top of the ninth, but ultimately fell 8-7.

| June 21st, 2011 - Six to Five Scores in Coyote win and loss |
The Coyotes hosted rival Wheaton Walleyes on Saturday, June 18th. Good weather and good play found Chokio on top of Wheaton the entire game. Wheaton scored a single run on Coyote starter Jeremy Westerman in first inning, but Chokio answered back with three of their own, taking a lead they wouldn’t give up. The Coyotes added a few more runs, but the Walleyes did threaten in the fifth. Youngster, Alex Erickson, came on in relief of Westerman and shut the Walleyes down. Final score Chokio 6, Wheaton 5. Coyote Hitting: Hervin 3-5, Barta 2-3, Finke 2-4.

Then, the boys made the trip to Minnewaska on Sunday for the first ever meeting with the Starbuck Stars. The stars jumped out to an early four to one lead in the first, which held for several innings. However, Nick Hervin and Jeff Kyllo did an excellent job of holding the Stars at bay while the Coyote bats found time to wake up. With some walks, singles, and stolen bases, Chokio managed to knot things up at five to five going into the 8th inning. Starbuck scored one and managed to hold on to the lead in a very fun exhibition game. Final score Starbuck 6, Chokio 5. Coyote Hitting: Gibson 2-4, Baxter 1-3, Kyllo 1-1.

| June 14th, 2011 - Coyotes blank Chiefs |
| After a rainout Friday night and some moist weather in the morning, everything turned out aces for the Coyotes Sunday afternoon in Benson. The Coyotes started out the game quickly, bringing in three runs with some nice hitting, including a solid double of the bat of Luke Classen. Then, ace lefty Lee Arvold took the mound, and the Coyotes never looked back. Lee went all nine for the complete game, 5 hit shutout. The Coyotes steadily poured on runs eventually settling at 10 in the ninth. Notable hitters: Howe 3-4, Hervin 2-3, Classen 3-5. Also hitting well, Alex Erickson made his Coyotes debut going 3-6.
Sorry, no pictures available for this game. We’re still looking for someone interested in taking photos for the team. Also, keep your eye on the schedule, as we currently have four rained out games to make up.

| June 2, 2011 - Blame it on the rain... |
 | A soggy May has left the Coyotes with nothing more than 2 losses to show for 5 scheduled games. On May 7th, the Coyotes opened up at home against rival Dumont. The game was exciting, but found the Chokio falling to the Saints 5-7. May 14th’s outing against the Ortonville Rox only lasted a measly 1.33 innings before it was called for lake forming under the pitcher’s mound. Both May 20 vs Clinton and May 27 vs the Saints were called for rain. Then, the boys lost to Land ‘O Ducks newcomer Montevideo 9-4.
Hopefully sunshine and good baseball will follow the Coyotes to Canby this Saturday, the 4th. After that it’s time for the Chokio Community Picnic. By then things should turn around for the weather and the team and get us back on the right track. ANNOUNCEMENT: Friday night, June 10th, the full concession stand will be open at 5:30 serving all the Tractor Pull patrons and those who like to come to the ball park early.

| April 20th, 2011 - A New Sun Rises |
| It may not feel like it, but Spring is in the air, and Coyote Baseball rises on the horizon. The sixth season will kick off with the annual fundraiser dance to be held at the Moonshine Steakhouse in Chokio on Good Friday. Come out this weekend and have a ball with the Coyotes!

| April 19th, 2011 - Coyotes hoping for better start than Twins |
| BALTIMORE -- Maybe it was just one of those nights.
Injuries, the flu and other problems robbed Twins manager Ron Gardenhire of much of his bench before the game Tuesday night. The lineup had holes for similar reasons, but Minnesota hoped it could get by against a slumping Orioles team stuck in the midst of an eight-game losing streak.
